Lea Wolf, MLD, LEED AP Partner
Lea's fascination with the richly varied landscapes of the mid-Atlantic stems from a childhood spent traversing Maryland's woodlands by horseback; summer sojourns along the Eastern Shore; and long days exploring the rugged beauty of her grandparents' mountain farm. Seeing the spontaneous joy of children as they discover newfound nature in their own backyard is Lea's favorite aspect of ecological design. Lea joined Lush Life in 2008 after receiving a Master's degree in Landscape Design and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Landscapes from The George Washington University. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland at College Park and is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional by the Green Building Certification Institute.

Associates and Team Members
Design Assistants The Design Studio at Lush Life provides an atmosphere of collaboration where experienced designers, assistants and interns apply their creative talents and passion for landscapes to every project. Each designer and assistant is, at a minimum, professionally certified in design - often pursuing additional studies in the fields of conservation, ecological or sustainable landscapes. Our educated team provides professional services at every level of the design process, from creating base maps to master plans, researching native plant habitats or selecting the perfect furnishings that set the final tone in the garden.
Preferred Contractors We have developed relationships with quality contractors who install our projects on time, within budget. These team members strive to provide the best in logistical management and customer service, minimizing the disruptions that the installation phase may cause.
Field Experts Our long-standing memberships in several non-profit organizations afford us access to dynamic leaders in the field of environmental restoration. Volunteer activities with these groups provide us the hands-on experience in successful techniques in the fields of plant restoration, storm water management and wildlife habitats. Fellowship in these groups refreshes our commitment to best practices in our methods and materials of landscape design.
Clientele No design team would be complete without the essential ingredients that our clients provide to our process. At Lush Life we have been fortunate to work with clients with either a passion for beauty, environmental principles and a love of wildlife, or an interest in these and a desire to learn more about them. We work closely with our clients to integrate their program needs and desires into spaces that are functional for both them and our local wildlife populations.
